Pageants
Tracy Heschong - Mccrackin didn’t always feel confident growing up. As a teen, she was often shy and unsure of where she fit in. But everything started to shift when she entered her first local pageant. Winning the title of "Miss Rocklin" gave her something she never expected—confidence, self-worth, and the courage to try new things. Later, winning her second title, "Miss Placer County," she became more than just wearing a crown—it was about representing a community she loved and beginning to believe in the person she was becoming. That journey eventually led her to compete in her third competition, "Miss California," which brought her to Beverly Hills—an experience that not only pushed her outside her comfort zone, but also sparked a lasting love for Los Angeles.
Raised in Placer County, with its rivers, forests, and endless trails, Tracy developed a deep love for nature and adventure. Those peaceful outdoor moments gave her the space to reflect, dream, and grow. Serving as a local queen introduced her to people from all walks of life—at community events, ribbon cuttings, and town celebrations. But more than the appearances, it was the heartfelt conversations and everyday heroes she met that stayed with her. Their strength and stories helped shape her perspective and inspired the creative path she would later take.
Those early pageant experiences sparked her passion for storytelling—through photography, film, and art—with a constant focus on people, connection, and community.
Though she eventually moved to Southern California, Northern California still feels like home. Tracy often returns to explore the natural beauty that shaped her and support the very pageants that once gave her a voice. She’s deeply honored to be a past queen—and if you catch a glimpse of her 80’s hairstyle in old photos, she hopes it gives you a good laugh. She's always been one for a laid-back sense of humor.
